Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026 · This prototype document is illustrative, not final legal text.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using the Quarro Search API and applications, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy. If you use Quarro on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
2. Accounts and access
Access is granted after review of your application (KYC / use-case vetting). API keys are shown once at creation and stored hashed — you are responsible for keeping them secret. You may revoke a key at any time; a revoked key immediately returns 401.
3. Metering and billing
The service is metered: you are billed only for successful searches beyond your plan's included quota. Failed requests (auth errors, pool saturation, upstream failures) are not metered. Card capture and billing are handled by Stripe; Quarro never stores your card number.
4. Service availability
Throughput is mobile-SIM-bounded by design. Under saturation the API returns retryable errors (429 / 502) rather than stale results. We do not guarantee a fixed QPS. Availability targets, if any, are set out in a separate agreement for Scale customers.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, non-payment, or abuse that risks the pool. Payment failure on an invoice results in account suspension until the card is updated.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Quarro is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. You are responsible for how you use retrieved content and for complying with the terms of the sites you query.
